Joe Louis fought Tommy Farr on August 30, 1937 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Louis won by decision in the 15th round to successfully defend his heavyweight title. Presented here is an original Working Press Pass for this event which was used to gain admittance to the arena.
This is an original Working Press Pass which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Includes original wrist string. Bold color and print. Name of Harry Markson written on back in pencil. Not creased or torn. Very minor soiling. 3" x 3 1/4."
