On August 22, 1947 at Atwood Stadium in Flint, Michigan world featherweight champion Willie Pep defended his title against Jock Leslie. Pep knocked Leslie out in the 12th round. The referee stopped the final count at "4" but "could have counted 100." Pep won nearly every round. Offered here is a rare, original Working Press Pass for this event which was used to gain admittance to the arena.
This is an original Working Press Pass which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Includes original wrist string. Bold color and print. Not torn. Small crease in lower right corner and mild center crease. Nat Fleischer name written on back in pencil, otherwise clean front and back. Minor edge wear. 2" x 3 1/2."
