On July 13, 1938 at Municipal Stadium in Philadelphia world light heavyweight champion John Henry Lewis was scheduled to fight "Two Ton" Tony Galento in the main event. The fight was cancelled when Galento came down with bronchial pneumonia. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this scheduled event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket which names and pictures both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Clean front and back with a pen notation on back. Bold color and print and bold, clear images. Stub firmly attached. Not creased or torn. Minor edge and corner wear. 2 3/4" x 7 1/4."
