On May 2, 1961 at Empire Pool at Wembley, London, England British Featherweight champion Terry Spinks defended his title against Howard Winstone. Winstone won the title by stopping Spinks in the 10th round. Also on the show middleweights Terry Downes and Tony Montano fought and Downes stopped Montano in the 5th round.
